About 30 seconds once WinTagz is downloaded. Open Print Setup, select your printer, enable Auto Print Tags, and run a test print. No browser extension or helper software is required.

We never believed in charging for tags. A tag is a receipt for work you already did, so billing you for one means billing you for selling well. We would rather back sellers earlier and be worth paying for later.

Will my thermal printer work?
Any thermal printer on Mac or Windows. The gear above is what our top sellers use, but most major brands work out of the box.
Is WinTagz a Chrome extension?
No. WinTagz is a complete desktop application for Mac and Windows. You do not need a browser extension, a separate printing service, or another software account to run it.
What if my internet drops mid-show?
Niko goes back for them. Any order that did not reach WinTagz while you were disconnected is pulled in when you reconnect, and it lands in your normal workflow so you can tag, pack, and ship it like every other order. You do not rewatch the video or rebuild the list by hand.

Yes, and Free may be all you need. Free includes unlimited Whatnot tags for 10 shows a month, so a seller running two shows a week never touches the limit. The free plan
What counts as a show on the Free plan?
A show counts once WinTagz has been connected for about 30 minutes and 5 or more items have sold, or once 10 or more items have sold at any length. Test connects, failed connects, and shows where nothing sold do not count. Reconnecting within 90 minutes continues the same show. The counter resets on the 1st of each month.
Why don't you charge per tag?
A tag is a receipt for work you already did. Charging for it bills you more the better your show goes, and the wall lands at the worst possible moment: mid-show, with buyers waiting on you. So tags are unlimited on every plan, Free included. What Free meters is shows, ten a month, because that is a limit you can see coming before you go live. You will never watch a tag counter while you are selling.
What happens after my 10th show of the month?
WinTagz will not connect an 11th show on Free until the counter resets on the 1st. Everything you already printed and tracked stays put. Upgrade to Pro at any time for unlimited shows; the upgrade takes effect immediately.

What can I actually program with Auction Actions?
Whatever you click repeatedly. You record a sequence of up to eight clicks straight from your live show, then bind it to a button: start the next auction, launch a giveaway, or any chain you run all night. Foot pedals, presentation clickers and Bluetooth remotes all register as keyboards, so those fire even when WinTagz is not the focused window and you can drive the show from another app. Game controllers work too, while WinTagz is focused. Auction Actions is on Growth and Business.
Do my team members need their own login?
Yes, and that is the point. Business includes 3 seats: yours plus two more. Each seat is a separate login with its own password, so your assistant ships from their computer and your mods help run the show from theirs, without anyone sharing your account. You invite them in Team Management and they get your Business features on their own login. Seats are for your own operation: the people who ship, moderate, and help run your shows. They are not a way to put another seller or a separate business on your plan, and doing that is a Terms violation that can end the account.
Am I locked into a contract?
Never. Every paid plan is month to month at a fair price. There is no long-term contract and no lock-in. Stay because WinTagz is the best option for your business, not because you are stuck.
What if I don't like it?
Free gives you unlimited Whatnot tags for 10 shows a month, no card required, so you run real shows before paying anything. When you upgrade, run 3 shows within your first 7 days. If WinTagz hasn't saved you enough time and money to cover the subscription, you get a full refund.
